Who we are

This website is owned by Renovare Fuels Limited, Teysha Technologies Limited and NextGen Nano Limited, and is operated on behalf of all three by Renovare Fuels Limited (Company No. 09812770, registered office 70 Kingsway, London WC2B 6AH), which is the data controller for this site ("Responsible Business News", "RBN", "we").

Pages on this site relating to the Renovare Fuels funding round are clearly marked, including the investor declaration page at /saf/declaration, which is likewise operated by Renovare Fuels Limited.

What we collect and why

Registration for updates. If you register for updates about Renovare Fuels, we collect your first name, last name and email address. We use these to send you the updates you asked for and to enable you, if you choose, to confirm your investor status with Renovare Fuels. Lawful basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by unsubscribing.

We share registration details within Renovare Fuels Limited, which operates both this site and the funding round, so that it can respond to your request and, where you complete an investor declaration, provide you with its Information Memorandum and related communications.

Investor declarations. If you complete the investor statement at /saf/declaration, Renovare Fuels Limited collects your name, email address, the statement you selected, your answers to its questions (including the qualifying details it asks for), your typed signature and the date. It holds this information because financial promotion law requires it to keep a record that a valid statement was completed and signed before investment materials are shared. Lawful basis: compliance with a legal obligation and steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract. Completed statements are retained for as long as required to evidence compliance with financial promotion rules.

Newsletter. If you subscribe to the RBN newsletter, we collect your email address and use it to send the newsletter until you unsubscribe. Lawful basis: consent.

Cookies and measurement. With your consent, this site uses the Meta Pixel and the Google tag to measure the effectiveness of our campaigns and understand how pages are used. These tags set cookies and share interaction data (such as pages viewed and forms completed) with Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd and Google Ireland Ltd, which may process it outside the UK. No measurement cookie is set unless you choose Accept in the cookie banner, and you can change your choice at any time by clearing cookies for this site. We also use strictly necessary cookies to remember your cookie choice.

Where your data is stored

Registration and declaration data is stored in HubSpot, our customer relationship management provider, acting as a processor. Website hosting and form processing are provided by Base44. These providers may store data outside the UK; where they do, transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards such as the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

How long we keep it

Marketing contact details are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. Investor statements are kept by Renovare Fuels Limited for the period required to evidence compliance with financial promotion law. Measurement data is retained in line with Meta's published retention periods.

Your rights

You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to our processing of it, to receive it in a portable format, and to withdraw consent at any time where consent is our basis for processing.
